Pakistani forces convoy was attacked by militants in Panjgur, earlier at this morning.

According to details, Pakistani forces convoy came under heavy attack by militants as a result multiple casualties were reported. Attackers safely escaped from the scene.

Local journalists confirmed the attack, whereas, Government officials have not yet issued any official statement.

Baloch Pro-freedom Militant group, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for today’s attack.

BLF’ spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch while talking to media from an undisclosed location said that this morning Sarmachars (Freedom fighters) attacked the convoy of five military vehicles of Pakistan Army in Gichk area of ​​Panjgur district. At Mok-e-Kandag, Sarmachaars ambushed the occupying forces with rocket launchers, automatic and heavy weapons.

He further added that the attack damaged all five vehicles and killed more than 20 personnel, including an officer on board. The Pakistani army came under heavy attack for several minutes even a single bullet was not fired from opponents. A few years ago, a BLF attack in the same area killed several army personnel, including a Pakistani colonel named Waheed, whose video went viral, and because of this, all Baloch websites, social media pages and video channels were blocked in Pakistan.
